Dallas-native Terry Fator will soon be making his way back through North Texas. The comedian, ventriloquist, impressionist, and sing who won the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent will be here Saturday, April 27th to perform at Winstar Casino.
When he’s not on tour, he’s headlining in Las Vegas at The Mirage Resort and Casino. He does miss Texas, especially good stuff like Whataburger. His wife is from Hawaii and had never had Whataburger before coming here, and now it’s a regular stop on their way through Texas.
Fator says he feels lucky to have the success he has made as most ventriloquists don’t get the opportunity to make a living solely by performing. Before America’s Got Talent, he was trying to book gigs on cruise ships not having any luck. Winning America’s Got Talent turned his career into a whirlwind of success that left him stunned for awhile.
He chatted with us this morning about missing Texas and his success since winning America’s Got Talent.
